The Paris Motorshow is fast approaching, here is what to expect
This October sees the Paris Motorshow. Pulling together some of the worlds largest automakers the show affords the motoring press, and visitors alike, an opportunity to get up close and personal to some of the latest metal around. Here’s what to expect from this year's show. The Mondial de l'Auto is the worlds biggest car show by visitor numbers and alternates between itself and the Frankfurt Motorshow every other year. Taking place in a major European city is a major plus to manufacturers looking to show off their wares to the paying public and this year there looks set to be a number of headline show stoppers. Let's take a look at some of these in more detail. From Audi, the new A1 will be in attendance. With images released earlier on in the year, this model caused somewhat of a stir thanks in part to its radical design changes. An already popular car, this updated version looks set to cement the A1’s position in the class. Alongside the A1, Audi will be bringing the Q3 and E-Tron SUV, with the latter becoming the marques first fully electric car. Audi’s rivals will also be on hand and will be giving the new X5 its public debut alongside the all-new BMW Z4, fresh off the back of it’s Pebble Beach appearance at the end of last month. The new 8-Series will also be given its public debut whilst the refreshed 3-Series will also be unleashed. Completing somewhat of a German trio and not to be outgunned, Mercedes Benz will bring five models to the Paris show and these include the new AMG A35 hot hatch, the EQC, Mercedes’ all-new electric SUV and the new A-Class saloon. Whilst a number of luxury brands will be absent at Paris, notably Bentley, Aston Martin and Lamborghini, they will have models in attendance via local Parisian dealerships. Porsche will be in attendance however and will be showing off the Macan SUV facelift which will go on sale soon. We will be in attendance during the event and will be reporting with all of the latest from the event so stay tuned for future event content and updates. From a Motorshow to our showroom, we currently have a fantastic range of vehicles available for sale currently and these can be browsed over on our website, here.
